• Red coloration is a Purkinje cell dendrite with spines projection to each side.

• Astrocyte projections form a glial encasement (blue) of neuronal structures as well as groups of the target axons. The astrocyte cytoplasm forms a lake-like suspension for neuronal components. Astrocytes link the CSF & blood vessels with neurons.
