Neuronal Circuitry (Circuitry)

Price: Free

The functional nervous system is based in numerous types of neurons and their interconnections by synapses. These neurons interact with each other as excitatory, inhibitory and modulatory signaling. A large component of the circuitry supports and maintains homeostatic functions producing a LIVING MOBILE STATE for the MIND. Beyond basic support, the nervous system provides specialized circuitry from which consciousness and emotion emerge and behavior and cognition emerge.

Commissures & Dec (Circuitry)

Price: Free

The peripheral visual system consisting of the cornea, lens and optic globe supporting the retina are the reason for decussations of neuronal pathways. The physics of light (pin-hole camera effect) reverses and inverts the image. Decussations synchronize the true spacial world of the body as realized by touch, audition, and vestibular sense so that pathway crossings with contralateral brain locations instate vision to body space. In addition, four major commissures allow the bilateral brain to communicate between the two sides.

Cerebellar Cortex (Circuitry)

Price: Free

The cerebellum serves as an example of circuitry with an organization that allows neurons to produce behavior by inputs from sensory modulation.
